haaaay guise haaaay

Wow, I feel like it's been a long time since I last updated this. University life has been getting the best of me, I guess? Eventually, midterms just started piling up on me and I got a bit too lazy with everything else.

Since last time, I had another French test which I did surprisingly better on. I got back my Economics midterm and again.. oddly, I got 100%. Yay for me!? I got an 80% on my business midterm but I've been getting good marks on my projects/assignments for the class, so I'm pleased.

Now, I'm just waiting on my Legal Studies and Sociology marks. It's always so nerve-racking to wait for marks to come back.

Last week was hell. I went back to Waterloo with a French test on Monday, Sociology midterm on Tuesday, Sociology assignment due on Thursday and then an Economics midterm on Friday. But yes, I did indeed, survive. I'm such a soldier.

Oh yeah, so two weeks ago, my residence don knocked on our door and gave us this:

He calls them "stress-relief baggies" which actually sounds like some sort of drug and it was the sweetest thing! It was midterm-season and everyone was basically cramming in their rooms. There was juice, chocolate, apples, and a granola-like bar inside. There was also bubble wrap for us to pop when we get stressed! My don's amazing! :)

On another note...

I was microwaving my red-bean sticky... something. This Asian snack?
Well I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and it was still cold. So I decided to microwave it for 28 more seconds...

My snack exploded! :(
I had to eat it with a fork...
Other than all this, not much has really happened? I'm still mildly-stressing over schoolwork, but I'm praying it gets better soon. When November's over, I'm pretty much free for an entire month! December is pretty much scheduled for final exams and I'll only be at school for maybe a week out of the entire month. When exams are done, I'll be back for Winter holidays and then I'll resume school again on... January 7th? Some time around there.

Oh yeah, so this song has been stuck in my head for the longest time...

and omg Ailee and HyunA are back!

k, sorry. I'm done.

Oh. My. Goodness. You do not know how happy I am that it is Friday. There are no words for the feeling of relief and joy I feel at this very moment.

Okay, not this very moment, but I felt pretty damn good about three hours ago when I got home and thought to myself 'I AM DONE.'

Technicalities aside, the past few weeks have basically been a bout of smashing as much information into my tiny, Asian head as I possibly could. Let's just say, that plan didn't work out too well.

My Psych exam... WAS CANCELLED... the first time at least. My teacher came in 15 minutes late and said 'I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that you're here, but you're exam isn't - ' -everyone begins to whoop in joy and my friend yells out I LOVE YOU- '- that was the bad news ! The good news is I don't have my lecture notes, so... I'll see you all Thursday. The midterm will be rescheduled for next week Tuesday.' Insert a vast amount of celebration here.

Then, I proceeded to go piece together a 5 page essay about Oedipus Tyrannus and Doctor Faustus... That was fun... I had 2 days, and I hadn't read the books yet...

My French test was a bundle of joy, in which I forgot to read the instructions for two of the questions and ended up doing something totally wrong, and yeah... there goes like 10 marks right there. (I'm actually pretty close, the marks just got posted... that sucks.)

Next up, my psych exam. This time it actually happened. That thing was so long. I'm praying I guessed right on all the questions I had to guess... this sucks. My teacher did put a fun question at the end though, and it was like a bonus question, so if all else fails, I got at least one mark.

Wednesday, the 24th, was our Campus Bubble Shop's first birthday! Haha~

The Cake! Isn't it adorable?!
The first piece of cake went to me ~ I think I got the largest piece :o ! This was my breakfast...
With the purchase of a bubble tea, you got the cake as well as this adorable little stress ball!
The other side of the stress ball~
Then, today, I had an Econ Exam. I don't know how I did, but I don't think I did well... that's for sure... I spent the day at DC studying and managed to get everything down... (It was also FREAKING FREEZING IN THERE... I felt like I was sitting in a freezer...). Then I got to the exam and was just like... dwat ?

Yeah... sounds good.

Also, my hands this week:

Lookin' healthy... basically... I scraped my left hand across the ceiling (I think I created 'ceiling burn' as opposed to carpet/rope burn), and cut my thumb with a knife... and then cut it again later with my umbrella... my right hand? I don't know what I did, but it hurt like hell.

It's been a good two weeks.

Anyways, so I got back from my Thanksgiving weekend and it was like mother-nature took fall and dumped it onto Waterloo xD

I found this walkway a few weeks back, and I just love it. Now the trees are basically naked... but it's still a convenient way to class, haha~ That leaf is from a bush/plant thing that grow around campus. The leaves all fall off like half red, half white, its beautiful... and very Canadian !

This weekend will be music study (yup, music exam.), maybe some piano practising, some exercise, I might hit up the mall~

TO SLEEP I GO ~

University Y01W05

I remember the first week of September when I was all gung-ho about posting every other day/week of the year talking about my university experience... yeah, so much for that...

Anyways, I'm trying. Even my book review blog is feeling a little neglected at the moment.

Since I'm on the topic of books, I the ARC of Black City by Elizabeth Richards :D I just started it this morning and am already half-way through. It's really good !

On another note, I'm back in Toronto for the first time since I started university. I missed my bed so much... and my family, I missed them too (: Haha~

Let me tell you the story of my trip back here. So I got a ticket for the school's buses, and they're your regular yellow school buses that you'd take during a high school trip, nothing fancy. And they're all like 'we should be back to Toronto around 4:30, since we're leaving at 3pm'. And I'm just like 'aiight, let's get going then~' THREE BLOODY HOURS LATER, we get to our destination. I honestly wouldn't have minded if I hadn't had to go to the washroom really badly about two hours into the trip. I also wouldn't have minded if I hadn't had such annoying people on the bus. Like they wouldn't shut up. When we got to Jane and highway 7 some person was like OMFG I SEE JANE AND FINCH. I'm just there like bro, NOT EVEN CLOSE... Then we pass my neighbourhood, and one of 'em's all like OMG WE'RE NEAR WONDERLAND. And again I'm just there like NO. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Now this was only for Vaughan, where I knew where everything was. But throughout the whole trip they just kept stating these random places that they insisted were around where we were. I'm guessing about 99.99% of those place weren't actually within a 10 km radius of our bus.

Anyways, now I'm home and currently skyping with friends, which is pretty fun ~

Also, our aerial photo was released!
So awesome ~ Hehe ~

I'm really behind in psychology... that's like my main task this week... well, also my freaking English essay but like you know... -sigh-

Anyways~ Off to bed with this one ~
